Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Truffles

How much protein do I need?


  • ½ cup creamy, no-stir peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 60 grams peanut butter whey protein powder*
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 4 Medjool dates, pitted and chopped
  • 3 tablespoons milk of choice
  • 6 teaspoons melted semi-sweet chocolate chips

    *We encourage you to try other proteins from milk in this recipe as well, simply substitute in place of the called-for protein. Please keep in mind that the nutritional analysis is based on the protein listed in the ingredient list.


Step 1

In a food processor, add all ingredients, except the chocolate, and blend until the mixture is fully combined and blends together.

Step 2

Roll into tablespoon-size balls and place onto a wax-paper-lined cookie sheet.

Step 3

Drizzle chocolate on top and top with sprinkles, if desired. To melt chocolate chips, pour into a microwave-safe container and heat, stirring every 20 seconds, until fully melted.

Step 4

Chill for 30 minutes or until set. Store the truffles in an airtight container for up to one week or freeze for later.
