Ingredients
- 1/2 cup cottage cheese
- 1/4 scoop whey protein isolate powder*
- 1 scrambled or fried egg
- 1 piece whole wheat bread
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
*We encourage you to try other proteins from milk in this recipe as well, simply substitute in place of the called-for protein. Please keep in mind that the nutritional analysis is based on the protein listed in the ingredient list.
Directions
Step 1
Coat a frying pan with 1 teaspoon olive oil or use a non-stick pan. Add the egg.
Step 2
While egg is cooking, mix cottage cheese and protein powder until well combined
Step 3
Toast the whole wheat bread
Step 4
Spread a generous layer of cottage cheese on toast and top with cooked egg
Step 5
Sprinkle with salt and pepper and/or other seasonings if desired
